Legacy Equipment. This essence was retired in the Bloodied Jewel update and removed from the active drop pool. Existing copies can still be equipped and inherited, but the legendary effect is no longer active.
Borrowed Time now empowers you or an ally, significantly increasing damage dealt but also increasing damage taken. If Life is reduced to zero while empowered, immediately heal to full Life, but gain a curse that continuously drains Life until dead. Killing an enemy player removes the curse.
