About the Diablo Immortal Legendary Gem Calculator
Legendary gems are the biggest source of Resonance and Combat Rating in Diablo Immortal. You rank a gem up by spending two materials — duplicate Gem Copies of that gem plus Gem Power — and each rank grants more Resonance and Combat Rating, with Resonance directly increasing your character's life and damage. This calculator turns a current rank and a target rank into the exact Gem Copies and Gem Power you need, so you can plan which gems to chase before you spend.
How to use it
- Pick the legendary gem you want to upgrade (1★, 2★, or 5★).
- Set its current rank and the rank you're aiming for (gems go from rank 1 to rank 10).
- Read the breakdown: the Gem Copies and Gem Power each rank costs, plus the Resonance and Combat Rating you gain.
Frequently asked questions
- What do I need to rank up a legendary gem?
- Two materials: duplicate Gem Copies of that gem, and Gem Power. Higher-star gems and higher ranks cost far more of both. Enter your gem and current rank above and the calculator totals the exact Gem Copies and Gem Power for your situation.
- What do Resonance and Combat Rating do?
- A gem's rank grants Resonance and Combat Rating. Resonance directly increases your character's life and damage, so it's usually the stat you're chasing when you rank gems up — and legendary gems are its biggest source.
- Which legendary gem should I upgrade first?
- Prioritise gems that fit your build's damage or survivability needs and that you already have spare Gem Copies of. Browse the full legendary gem database to compare rank-10 effects before committing Gem Power.
